For the NIT+ System, the aspirant can withdraw the seat by reporting online and completing all the steps up to the final round of online seat allocation. Here is the step-by-step guide on withdrawal of an accepted/allotted seat in JEE Counselling:
- Go to the official JoSAA portal.
- Log in with your valid credentials.
- Next, submit a withdrawal request. You need to submit a duly signed declaration form within the deadline.
- An OTP will be sent to your mobile number and email ID. You need to use this OTP to confirm that you want to withdraw from the seat allocation process. You will also confirm that this will lead to the cancellation of the allocated seat and will not be considered for the next stages of seat allocation (if any).
- The reporting officer will verify the uploaded document/request. Based on the verification, one of the following things will happen:
