MP NEET Re-Test Latest Update?
The MP NEET re-test for 1,563 students in Satna has been put on hold by the Madhya Pradesh High Court. These students were earlier asked to reappear for the NEET UG 2025 exam due to a power outage that occurred at their exam center on May 5, 2025.
As a result of the court’s order, the re-test will not be conducted for now.

MP NEET Re-Test why was it Scheduled?
The re-test was planned by the National Testing Agency (NTA) because the power cut had caused the CCTV footage to be incomplete at the Satna exam centre.
Since the video recordings were not fully available, concerns were raised about the fairness and transparency of the exam. So, to avoid any doubts and to treat all students equally, a re-exam was proposed for those affected.

Why Did the Court Stop Re-Test ?
Some students filed a petition in the MP High Court, claiming:
- They completed the exam fairly.
- The power cut did not impact them.
- A re-test would cause unnecessary stress and confusion.
The Court agreed to pause the re-test for now and asked NTA to explain the situation in detail.
What Does It Mean for Other Students?
If you’re not from the Satna center in MP, this MP NEET court case doesn’t affect your results or counselling. It is limited to the students from that particular exam center.
Still, it shows how technical problems like power cuts can create big challenges in national exams like NEET.
